Creepy Kitchen Products*

June 27, 2007
Last night, late last night when I was stuck watching Animal Planet, a commercial for Tater Mitts came on. I had never seen this product before. OH-MY-GAWD! There is something incredibly creepy about rubbing potatoes with a gloved hand that peels the skin away. Worse than nails sliding down a chalkboard, worse than the story of the DH telling me that he rubbed his foot raw once when he was using one of those pedicure exfoliaters on his heel while he was watching television and did not realize just how much skin he had removed.

You must share the creepiness, because I cannot take it all by myself.

*The title is a link that leads to testimonials. All are a hoot if you read them with an exaggerated hillbilly accent.

    That’s just wierd!

In UK there is a strange product like that, they are adverts for the disgustingly named “Cillit Bang!”, a heavy duty cleaner that can melt nearly anything, by a strange and gobbily loud man who shouts at us.

We have a guy that screams at us too. I think for Oxyclean or something similar.

If you washed a tater-tot with a tater-mitt, would you have nothing left?

Did you hear about the latest murder? Mrs. PotatoHead ordered a pair of these and had her husband “rubbed out”!

Ok….go ahead and ban me from your blog now:)

Having her husband rubbed out is better than rubbing one out for him. LMAO!

    You are so nasty.
