Black And White Men Hate Women

September 18, 2007

Jurors heard the Knicks coach say he wouldn’t stand for a white man calling a black woman a “bitch” – but wouldn’t be as angry if the same words came from the mouth of a black man.

In a videotaped deposition played for the jury at fired Knicks exec Anucha Browne Sanders’ sexual harassment trial, Thomas said he drew a distinction between whites and blacks when it came to the B-word. Asked if he was bothered by a black man calling a black female “bitch,” Thomas said: “Not as much. I’m sorry to say, I do make a distinction.” “A white male calling a black female a bitch is highly offensive,” Thomas said. “That would have violated my code of conduct. “Maybe I shouldn’t go there. … A white male calling a black female, that is wrong with me. I’m not taking that. I’m not accepting that. … That’s a problem for me.” [see link in heading]

There it is in black and white, the black and white male pissing contest that is. The great race war that men keep going on and women are supposedly to fall in line and support a side based on skin color. The women mean nothing to either of them, it simply boils down to which one has the right to abuse women, to power over women. And in their world it is just about who wins between the two. Apparently, it is okay for white men to abuse white women and black men to abuse black women but if it is crossed, it becomes a problem. What is being said between the lines? Women are the property of men, just keep the color straight and we are cool.

Fuck you Isaiah Thomas, there is no he said she said, I do believe you called Anucha Browne Sanders a bitch, maybe even a black bitch, and you should suffer because of it.

Troubling stuff, Kitty. I think whites are often loathe to criticize what they perceive to be “black” behavior for fear of being called racist. White guilt, basically. But, as you rightly point out, NO WOMAN should be called a bitch – black or white or purple.

Kitty, you must have known I am a Knick fan. Diehard Knick fan, at that. I saw the video where Isiah “called himself” trying to differentiate between the word being heard from a black and white man. Isiah is full of sh*t. Always has been. I never cared for Isiah until he became associated with the Knicks. And here it is … 4 yrs later and the team still sucks. Isiah tries to slick talk too much for me. Don’t take what he says seriously because he always contradict himself. Just a stupid remark from a black man who thinks he’s smarter than he really is.

Unfortunately, his stupid remark is symptomatic of what a lot of people really think, and the way they really act. He’s just stupid because he says it out loud.

    Yes.

When I saw clips of Thomas in all of this and hearing his excuses, the first connection I drew was to “Do you have more than a square to share” Craig and his pitiful excuses.
