Well That Earthquake Was A Little Strong….

July 29, 2008

I’m a little dizzy, and the child is too. It was like sitting in a boat. The dog will not shut up.

Glad you are ok. I thought dogs were supposed to bark BEFORE the earthquake, ha ha.

We had one here several years ago and people made such a big deal about it. I think one house had some bricks fall or something.

When I saw this today, what amazed me was how nonchalant the West Coasters were about it. We are such a bunch of pansies on the East Coast.

wow – I hadn’t heard about this. I once experienced an earthquake – in Pennsylvania, believe it or not, a century ago. Weird experience.

    Glad you’re ok. (poor dog!)

the earthquake was centered in the city that my husband works in. they closed wal-mart and bank of america over there. the stuff the flew off the shelves in wal-mart was on the front page of the local newspaper the next day. lol. the carnage!

i got this feeling of vertigo afterwards. it was weird because i’ve been in quite a few earthquakes growing up in CA and never got that feeling before. our son insists that the earth is crooked now. 😉

Kitty…I didn’t know you were in LA either! Glad you, the child and the dog are okay. Not only can’t we fool Mother Nature, we can’t control her either!

I’m only here for a slow minute, so I’m not calling it home.
