Fuzzy Eyeball On Public Service

December 30, 2008
Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich done me proud in the Tonya Harding insisted on going to the Olympics anyway even though everyone knew she had a hand in making the American Princess Kerrigan show her true colours by screaming out “this Disney parade is so corny”, sort of way. I love, love, love when White Trash™, white trash as in the people who have been labeled as white trash (by other whites who think they are so much better but engage in the same damn behavior) refuse to play the game the way the almighty and powerful let’s pretend we don’t do scandalous shit like those trailer trash meth-heads do shit, pretentious anti-racist white supremacists (and their white supremacist identified people of colour counterparts) do shit.

Yes, yes, if you were to dust away all the ridiculousness of it, Blajojevich should probably step aside, and he most certainly should not be appointing who should be the next senator of Illinois, but technically the man has not been found guilty of any crimes yet (yall know yall like to holler that argument when it is someone yall want to support), and regardless of who he appoints, the people (you remember them doncha) can always run him (no threat that it will be a woman in this sordid game of cat/mouse/cat/rat/rat/cat/mouse/rat/field mouse/tiger/cheap carnival stuffed animal game) out of office when the seat comes up for election. Or have the people just accepted that once the godly seats of Senate are occupied the people no longer have a say? Talk about giving away power. Sheesh.

Oh, and I heard the pol Blagojevich picked, Roland Burris is GLBT friendly, and if you haven’t noticed, he is black too. The plot thickens. Well, we all know the Creative Class™ (Sans true bohemians and authentic intellectuals. I suspect neither would fart in this latest libertarian brand of Creative Class’s direction) don’t give a rat’s ass about the GLBT community along with not giving a flea’s ass about women (any, gay or otherwise), and their leader done shamed those black men last Father’s Day, so how will this bit of laffy taffy be stretched into animal shaped balloons this time?

“Roland Burris is a good man and a fine public servant, but the Senate Democrats made it clear weeks ago that they cannot accept an appointment made by a governor who is accused of selling this very Senate seat. I agree with their decision, and it is extremely disappointing that Governor Blagojevich has chosen to ignore it. I believe the best resolution would be for the Governor to resign his office and allow a lawful and appropriate process of succession to take place. While Governor Blagojevich is entitled to his day in court, the people of Illinois are entitled to a functioning government and major decisions free of taint and controversy,” said President-elect Obama.

Blah blah blah blah. Free of taint and controversy? Oh Barry, you are quite the jokester. Obama’s followers hear what they want to hear and he says what he wants to say, and none of it sticks past yesterday anyway, so, why even issue a statement? Save it for your twitter updates.

However, the kool-aid is still stained into many people’s skin and the self-righteous Creative Class™ is still boguarding the community soapbox, and Obama is still hailed as the worthy prince of a trumped up narrative that makes all the very serious people feel good about their inability to buy the latest Wii. So the Cinderella story white trash boy of Illinois must go, must tuck his tail between his ass cheeks and go. Or for extra points, as I said before, he must kill himself. “We can’t have no fool exposing our game!”

But he is not, is he? Going that is. Which all I have to say is:

Let all those fuckers sweat! I have a whole Christmas stocking of shit to munch on that will keep me good and full until at least Ground Hog’s Day, –if not Valentine’s Day.

P.S. And let’s not forget, Princess Caroline feels entitled to Clinton’s senate seat just because she feels she should have it. Well, Princess Salt, I feel like I should get a lot of things.

But it is serious yall! We need to be serious.

And the hipster said to my fuzzy eyeball:

“You have a such stunningly superficial knowledge of what went on it’s almost embarrassing to listen to you.”

In which I replied, “Yeah, your cat look’s like booty sweat”

Yes – and about princess Caroline – I've hated the idea from the beginning. America's penchant for royalty on display. Royals duly elected like Ted – a hard-working politician I respect – are one thing but royals playing at politics & expecting a silver platter to be appointed to them is another.

Tell me about it. And the nerve that her supporters have by demanding that she be picked as a feminist option. As if. What has princess Caroline done for anyone?

She’s considered a feminist option? Why? Because she happens to be a woman? How in the world is the cause of feminism going to be helped by appointing a woman to a high office for which she is not necessarily qualified?

I clearly haven’t been following the story closely enough.
