A Poem: Thief

April 4, 2011

It is one thing to steal from greedy corporations

Another thing if you live on the street and have to steal for your food

Yet a whole nother thing if your parents are standing behind your six year old self and pushing you to steal the white woman’s shopping bag when she puts it down

Something different all together if you are a calculated burglar,

And a horse of another color if you are stealing because you are a bored teenager,

But to come into someone’s house who invited you in and steal her one and only valuable possession simply because you think she has “riches” even though you had/have the same if not more opportunities in life to have what she has, is nothing more than a common low life loser whose only purpose in life is to scorch the earth and cry about everyone not supporting the same demoralizing mentality. “I will stop stealing [and all the other non-human connective behavior] when the world submits to my petulance. Until then, everyone owes me everything and I am not responsible or accountable for anything.”

Thief.
